Florian Grosu, Assets Director Romania of Expert Petroleum, was elected on March 13th, 2020, as a member in the Managing Committee of the Romanian Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association (ROPEPCA), replacing Michel Louboutin, who occupied this position since November 2019.
The vote received from ROPEPCA members represents one more proof of confidence in Expert Petroleum’s strong management. Michel Louboutin has been previously elected in this position for 4 terms, in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019, also being ROPEPCA President in 2014-2015.
Being Expert Petroleum’s Assets Director in Romania since 2010, Florian has more than 34 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry. The term in the ROPEPCA Managing Committee will end in November this year.
“After more than 34 years in the upstream sector in Romania and worldwide, with a focus in recent years on the sustainable management of brownfields, I am keen to be involved in today’s debate of the industry: how will the energy transition shape in the upcoming years and how is it going to impact the operational framework for our industry? I believe my extensive experience and overall understanding of both the Romanian industry, economy and society will add value to the current works of the ROPEPCA Managing Committee and to the joint interests of the Romanian upstream industry”, says Florian, at the start of his term.
